All requests for accommodations, including appeals, must be submitted by the late registration deadline by your school official through the Test Accessibility and Accommodations (TAA) system.
For each of the two days within a testing window, there will be morning and afternoon sessions offered. Session availability may vary by test center.

When You Should Test
Consider choosing a test date at least two months ahead of the application deadlines of all the colleges and scholarship agencies you might want to apply to.
Scores for the ACT begin to be reported as soon as two business days after your test date, but infrequently scores may take as long as 8 weeks. If you take the ACT with writing, scores will be reported only after all of your scores are available, including writing.
High School Codes
Find your high school code. You'll need this code to register.
Fees
Wondering how much the ACT will cost? See current ACT fees for details about additional fees.
If you decide you do not want to test, your basic registration fee and any additional service fees (e.g. late registration, test center change) are nonrefundable. Fees for optional services may be refundable.
The ACT with Writing
The writing test is an optional 40 minute essay that measures your skills as a writer.
Requesting Accommodations?
Before you register, learn more about requesting accommodations.
Retesting Restrictions
You may not receive scores from more than one test date during a scheduled national or international administration (Saturday, non-Saturday, or rescheduled test date arranged by ACT). If you are admitted and allowed to test a second time, we will report only the scores from the first test. The second or third set of scores will be cancelled without refund.
You may not receive scores from more than one test date per state administration (initial or makeup) if your school participates in ACT State and District Testing. If you are allowed to test more than once, we will report only the scores from the first test. The second set of scores will be cancelled.
